The International Thepspian Society recognizes students who have shown excellence in the theatre arts. Long Reach High School's troupe #7481 focuses on giving back to the community through service projects and performances. Participation in theatre and community events are kept track of with a point system that allows students to earn different rankings within the society.

 

To be inducted members must have a minimum of ten points (5 which must come from Long Reach High School)and have taken a theatre class.

 

Officers are chosen at the beginning of they year through a vote by the members.

Members participate in TOTS Eat, a food drive desgined to help children in need during the month of October, perform at the Maryland Thespian Festival, plan the annual talent show, Long Reach Has Talent, to help promote the fine arts in the schools and to fundraise for the organization Broadway Cares.
